Parking is best back up the hill towards the Folly.  Be careful when getting over the Heritage Wall – we will be putting in a stile later in the season.  Fishing is difficult as there is a major problem with overhanging branches (to be cleared when the season closes in September).  To access the downstream stretch of water you will need to wade as the banks are very steap and we have yet to put ladders in.  Fishing is good though right down to the motorway bridge.  However – at the moment we have no access out of the river at the end of the Beat (it is a motorway after all!)- so it is a walk back.

Towards the folly – park along here.

Go through the gap in teh wall. There is a small drop the other side – so be careful!

Park back up the hill.

Probably best to park alongside the trees.

Looking downstream from the Bridge. Low hanging branches make fishing difficult – but not impossible.

We all have one thing in common: we all love to fish!
