Just a short report on my fishing outing to the Griese last weekend.
On Sunday I spent a couple of hours fishing on the river Griese. The weather was awful with strong winds and heavy showers. The river itself was in great condition running just a little high but very clear. I fished with a team of wet flies (spiders). The spiders proved effective on the day, I caught and released twelve wild brown trout. The best fish was about three quarters of a pound.
A nice way to spend a few hours. I look forward to my next outing on the Griese.
