First time fishing the Griese, started at the bottom of beat 6 and made way upstream.
Time fished 11:00 – 15:00, caught 8 trout, my first and biggest on a cdc dry, most others on various hares ear nymphs, also caught one small salmon parr on a stewarts black spider.
There was plenty of fly life around, LDOs, Iron Blues (I think – see picture), some smaller lighter olives as well.
Spotted groups of lampreys as well and took a short video, hopefully it can be uploaded for all to see…
